linoleum block prints

With the simple materials of paper, ink, brayer, linoleum carver and linoleum blocks Scott Parker creates by hand, in small editions, these linoleum block prints on the press in his studio. Single state prints are one color. Multiple block prints use a number of different blocks printed on the same sheet of paper in layers. Reduction (Redux) prints reduce the same block by carving, inking, printing, carving more, applying different ink and printing - this continues multiple times.
