National Park Project Extension

In 2004 when Scott Parker completed the National Park Project there were 58 parks in the park system with the designation of National Park. When the project began there were only 56. As our elected officials continue to add and elevate more properties to the National Park system Parker continues to visit and explore each of these new parks.

As of 2021 there are now 63 National Parks amongst the 423 properties of the National Park Service
